Fred Torres presents The Monkey Channel, a new play with dance, inspired by true events. Set in 1990, this theater piece follows Cindy, a single mid-west mom making a spontaneous expedition to Mt. Eiger to summit one of the world's highest and most dangerous peaks. The story offers drama, suspense and wonder in an unfolding sequence of events around Cindy and her family. The Monkey Channel challenges conventional thoughts of risk and the possible rewards/ or loss based on one's human condition.
